ENCODER
An encoder is a type of sensing device that provides feedback. Encoders convert motion into an electrical signal that can be used to determine position, count, speed or direction. A controller can then use this information to send a command to a specific function. They are therefore primarily used in motion feedback and motion control applications, such as industrial controllers, robotics, photographic lenses and rotating radar platforms.
We offer encoders from PWB Encoders, Bühler Motor and Portescap. We have both magnetic and optical encoders.
PWB Encoders have patented designs that provide reliable operation, high precision, and significantly higher robustness compared to competing products. Bühler Motor produces mini rotary encoders that offer perfect motion control in the smallest of spaces.
The encoders can be customized and combined with our various electric motors according to the customer’s needs for the number of lines. Please contact us for more information about the encoders we offer. We are happy to share our expertise to help you find the right encoder for your project.

AEM30 from PWB Encoder
Read more
The AEM30 encoder from PWB-Encoders is one of the smallest multiturn encoders ever with a weight of just 37 g.
This space-saving encoder makes it possible to implement miniature feedback solutions for applications with high demands on precision and reliability. The encoder is also suitable for use in high-speed applications that need to operate in harsh environments.
With a resolution of 36 bits at speeds up to 10,000 rpm and continuous operation of 16 million revolutions, you get a reliable, low-cost encoder that delivers high performance in a compact size that quickly and easily can be attached to different sizes of motor shafts.
The encoder measures 42.5 x 31 x 23.9 mm and is housed in a robust plastic housing that withstands shock and vibration.
The AEM30 encoder can be configured with the three interfaces SSI, BiSS, or SPI, making it flexible for the user to integrate it into different control and regulation environments.
