Who are we?

GCM – Gearcentralen Micmotor A/S is an engineering, development, production, and trading company with more than 35 years of experience in development, design, and production of customized mechatronic solutions with electric motors, gears, and controls.

GCM A/S was founded in 1986 in Sønderborg, where we are still located today with our head office, development department, warehouse facilities, and workshop. We have a wide range of standard products from our many suppliers but our expertise lies in supplying and producing customized solutions and participating in development projects based on the customer’s specific needs. We have thus moved from being a trading company to developing and producing motor and gear solutions for our customers ourselves.

Our client portfolio consists of large and small companies in different sectors and markets. Our long-standing expertise makes us the ideal partner for your development project, and we are there every step of the way, from idea to finished product. That way, we do everything we can to make your project a reality.

With our extensive know-how in motor and gearbox technology and broad experience in several different industries, you get a partner who has the right resources and understands your needs. We can support or completely replace your in-house development department with our acquired skills from similar projects. We can develop special motors, gears, motor controllers and electronics according to the customer’s wishes. We have software to analyze and dimension motors, gears, 3D mechanical design and we also have software for print layout.
