Portescap introduces their latest mini motor – 12ECP48 Ultra UC\u2122<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 12ECP48 motor is the latest addition to Portescap’s Ultra EC brushless DC platform. The BLDC motor is cost-optimized without compromising high performance.<\/p>\n

With a diameter of 12 mm, a speed of up to 60,000 rpm and a weight of just 30 grams, the motor is almost 10% lighter than existing motors of the same size. The motor’s 48 mm coil is two times longer than competing motors, providing a maximum continuous torque of up to 8.1 mNm.<\/p>\n

The 12ECP48 is also compatible with the R13 gearbox and is therefore also ideal for applications requiring a torque of up to 0.5 Nm.<\/p>\n

The motor is suitable for cordless hand tools in the medical and industrial markets, electric grippers, miniature pumps and many other markets. The 12ECP48 is also a great choice for those looking to switch from brush DC motors to brushless DC technologies for longer life or for companies looking to switch from manual units to powered units for improved productivity and accuracy.<\/p>\n

Customization is also possible, including connectors, speed or direction optimization, dust protection, cable sealing, etc.<\/p>\n
