Planetary gears are most often used in applications requiring high density, operational efficiency and longer service life. The gear’s compact design with multiple planetary gears means it achieves a high gear ratio in limited space. The design also means that the gear weighs less compared to other types of gears with the same ratio. It also contributes to a longer lifespan as more gears share the load between them.<\/p>\n

Planetary gears are often used for servo motor<\/a> solutions and positioning tasks where precision is important.
