DIRECT TORQUE MOTOR<\/h1>\n

Direct Torque motors pull the load directly. That is, without any kind of exchange, which results in an enormous stiffness between the load and the motor. The configuration of these motors consists of a relatively large diameter and a narrow width and generally has a large number of poles to increase the available torque in a given volume. However, the large number of poles causes more commutation as speed increases than for a motor with few poles.<\/p>\n

This kind of motor is therefore ideal for positioning or speed systems that require high torque, high torque at low speed, or optimal torque at high speed.<\/p>\n

The advantages of a Direct Torque motor are that it requires no maintenance, is quiet, and has a compact installation and no backlash.<\/p>\n

We offer Direct Torque motors from the American manufacturer Kollmorgen<\/a>, which are available in different sizes and torques. The motors have high accuracy even at low speeds without backlash and adherence to a gear system. In addition, they offer reliable operation and a long lifetime in a compact and adaptable design.<\/p>\n

The motors can also be further customized to meet our customers’ needs. Customized modifications can include specific magnetic materials, laminations, pole numbers, windings, and more.<\/p>\n

What is a direct torque motor? It is simply a motor that pulls the load directly, without any kind of gearing, resulting in an enormous stiffness between the load and the motor.<\/p>\n

The direct torque motor has many advantages. Among other things, no maintenance is required and the motor has no gearing and no backlash. It has a hollow shaft, is very quiet and flat compact installation.<\/p>\n
